hello

We are gearing up here for the start of school soon. It will be Lily's first time in a french school. She has been to kindergarten in Australia but the hours were shorter. She will be going into the moyenne section of the Maternelle. I am not as worried as I was as she actually understands quite a lot of french now and speaks a bit too - much more than I thought she would. The Directrice said we can go in with her for the first few days but after that she's on her own.

Anyone have any wise words of advice on settling kids into school or anything you think I should know? How long did it take your kids to settle in? Were there tantrums about not going? (I'm dreading that:eek:)
