I am a retired Arizona State University professor who would like instruction in French while living near Thonon. I've arranged a vacation home exchange in Port Ripaille during April and May 2008. My French is redimentary: 102-201 level. I'd love to take a course, find a tutor, or find an English/French trade partner during the period of the exchange. work for a language school based in Annemass and we teach French. But ... the price is about 50 euros an hour. I think you might be better off looking for an English/French trade partner or paying someone directly. The going rate should be something like 15 to 20 euros an hour. You might also try the local GRETA.
