Hello! We want to move to a village near Annecy, where I can easily get to and from "town", and my partner can get to and from the ski resorts where he hopes to find work as a Moniteur (La Cluzas/St B).
Thones looks nice - any other suggestions of where to look for a place to rent? Looking for a small house or an apartment in an old building. Thanks for any advice!

We live in Annecy and travel to La Clusaz by bus so I havent stopped in the towns along the way but I agree Thones looks nice. You could also think about Menthon St Bernard (closer to Annecy and on the lake) or St Jean de Sixt (closer to La Clusaz)

Hi, Not really sure if you were looking to move into the Annecy town itself, but if so I have a 2 bedroom apartment in the Old Town for rentals (long/short term). very central.
