Hi people, my name is Jorge and would like to join the French Foreign Legion for personal reason (don't want to bore anybody about why i want to join), i would just like to get some feedback about the Legion and how french see the military organization??? I've read a few books about it and read a few articles but never talked to a french or a person who lives in france about it. well thank you for your time and have a properous day!

He probably wont read my answer but it can help futur candidates:
- Go the the foreign legion office with your bag and without "rendez vous", there is around 30 people arriving each day.
- Pass some basic tests. If not, you're kicked.
- Pass 3 months of HARD tests. Don't gorget its harder than Rangers, marines and all the stuff. Many people give up. Many many.
- Prepare yourself to forget your real name, nationality, and to live 24/24 with no leasure, hard life, and no repects from your boss. The goal is to transform you in an inhuman war machine. You'll only have 3 objectives: Obediance, being the best, saving your comrades if they are in danger.
- Keep in mind you have little chances to reach the Graal... and that many people just get mad or criminals.
